Founder
Neil Gallantree
Neil is the founder and tutor for Top Marks Tuition. He began his teaching career delivering basic computer skills and the ECDL qualification for the local authority. In 1996, he went on to be awarded the Certificate in Education for the Further Education Sector at Huddersfield University. He further developed his career by teaching at a local college for 6 years before starting Top Marks Tuition. Neil’s belief is that regardless of age, students have a right to succeed and achieve the future they desire.
Finance & Business Development Manager
Shakira Gallantree
Shakira is Neil’s daughter and Top Marks Tuition’s Finance & Business Development Manager. She is responsible for exploring new business opportunities as well as managing the business's finances. Shakira’s career started at Beverley High School and achieved A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Business Studies at St Mary’s Sixth Form College, Hull. After working as a Finance Assistant in other fast-moving companies, Shakira has been able to implement new systems at Top Marks Tuition to make the company more robust.
